I am so amazed by my wife Katie's love and and acceptance of Laura. We have been married since December and things are going good so far.It was 2 years ago when we first started dating that I did tell her this.I remember her coming at my place and I had her sit down on the couch in my living room.Looked at Katie and told I am a part time crossdresser going by Laura.Saw the look she did take it hard and I gave her time on this.It was 2 days later after this happened that we decided to work things out on this. She realized that she still loved me and I love her.Did it with help of a therapist and it worked.Through this,Katie realized this makes me happy and should love and accept me for who I am.Katie did meet Laura for the first time at our 6th therapy session. We were both tearful that day and she said I looked beautiful and gorgeous. To this day,Katie has been learning new things about my lifestyle everyday now.Part of it is getting to know Laura more and shopping is one of them.Been supportive ever since too and says Laura is a great best friend in her life.I am very proud of her for this.

Hope springs

Great story, i assume you let her know how much her support means to you? There are too many stories out there of woman leaving immediately after they found out. I wish you and her the best.

My wife is very supportive too. She read articles, books and websites to learn about crossdressing/transgender lifestyles. She is far more accepting of me than I am accepting of myself. I still struggle with accepting it sometimes but she has no problem at all with it.

I told my fiancee about being transgender Thanksgiving of 1969 although I think I used crossdresser as the phrase I told her.  What happened to that fiancee?  June will be our 46th anniversary.  She said despite I promised her when we were talking then that I would never transition, she's expected it in the last few years.

That is amazing, I'm glad she was able to rationally look at the situation and come to her own conclusions.  I love hearing stories like that!
