For those considering facial fat infiltration, be aware that the fat can sometimes sneak into places you didn't intend.
For example, after facial fat grafting, I experienced some puffiness above and below my right eye, which just got worse over time (and as I gained a few pounds). Only the right eye was affected.
During a blepharoplasty to correct the problem, the surgeon found these two fatty masses actually
inside the muscles around my right eye (the orbicularis oculi):
