Funny It's been about that long since I have been to a doctor, longer actually.

I guess people like me abandoning the institutions of medicine years ago got noticed and things are changing, this is good to hear.

Really. I'm sorry. It's the politics and bureaucrats and some corporate shenanigans on the part of pharmaceutical business people That has unfairly colored my view of the people they hijacked, the healers. I have let a handful of selfish greedy people dictate my opinion of a whole profession. Even those 'shenanigans' are being looked into and corrected. Though some still want to use the medical system to implement their own ideas on how things should be. There is a lot of controversy as to the different approaches to healing. Many are not 'officially recognized'.

Also I have a philosophical difference with how modern science is approached.
But that is a deeper topic off on a total tangent.

And my authority issues encompass a lot more than the world of medicine.
I am just an inherently stubborn person. I like it that way. Though stubbornness is a dual edged sword that I can cut myself on.
