I'm back!! The past few weeks have kept me busy and offline.
But I did manage the time to write something new.
This is a song I wrote in response to the reactions we sometimes get from nasty, cruel people.
It is written in parallel to Five Finger Death Punch's style which I favor.
MY RESOLVE
Deny me my humanity
While abandoning your own,
I hope it leaves you torn,
Hate me without reason if you need to,
I'll relish in your scorn.
Give me something I can cling to,
You better go for broke,
Is this really the best you can do?
Your opinions are a joke.
I can break, but I'll never cave,
I'll never fold the hand I have in this twisted game,
I will take everything and anything,
I will show you I can live with pain,
I may be warped,
Perhaps I'm already insane.
I'll never give up, I can't give up,
Not until the end of my days,
So kick me, scream at me,
lie to me, and cheat me,
Do everything you can,
But you will never beat me.
I can break, but I'll never cave,

My path is my own with a destination unknown,
