I don't see the topic of liposuction being talked about here and I was wondering if anyone here has had liposuction done to either their buttocks or thighs?
I asked a doctor about this and they told me that because I am "thin" they won't do it and if they do, they won't take out the amount I want.  I was really considering this because it's so disgusting that I can't even wear fitting pants like I want to. I do exercises that supposedly tones those areas but I feel like they're not doing anything. Like I didn't put up with enough chest binding, now I have bind down there.
I am especially wondering from those who aren't on T since there is no fat redistribution present.
I am male because I say so and nothing more.
I don't have to look or act like one therefore.

I've heard of someone getting a "masculinizing" version of liposuction done in New York after having been on T for 5 years and dropping a great deal of weight but that's the only time I've heard of someone doing it. I wont lie I'm contemplating asking about it if I go in to see the surgeon I'm likely going to be using since he also does liposuction treatments. Mostly out of curiosity and also because I feel like I may benefit from the assist even after dropping weight just due to my frame is very load bearing and I have a feeling losing that weight will be very problematic for me.

I'm pretty sure it's a pretty hit or miss subject and would be considered definitely a personal preference. The thing to keep in mind with liposuction and any other fat removing surgeries is that it's best to have a healthy and active life style before proceeding otherwise the effects will easily be reversed after some time. It shouldn't be used as a fix all, merely as an assist to trouble areas that after a great deal of effort you have having great difficulty losing.

Toning will only do so much as well. The best method to weight loss of any kind is cardio burn. The unfortunate side to estrogen heavy bodies is that the hips/thighs are often one of the last places to lose weight.

There are so many different places that do liposuction or some form of that if it is something you really want then not everyone is going to say no. The only reason I could think of them saying no is if there is physically none there and you are imagining it.

I would imagine it's just like any surgery - every surgeon you ask will have slightly different preferences and methods in terms of what they will do, who they will do it to, and how they will do it. So just because one has told you no doesn't mean another will. Shop around.

I do agree with Alex though. If the tissue just isn't there to remove in areas that you're seeing as problematic, there isn't much they can do for you. The unfortunate thing about weight loss and targeted toning workouts is that you can't actually spot reduce. If you lose weight, you don't have a choice what part of you it comes from. So in addition to the workouts you're doing, you should also be doing cardio to maximize both the weight loss and the improvements in those areas that you dislike.

My problem area for me is my hips and down. What I'm trying to do is bulk up and get thicker (weight training) up top to try and kind of make my body appear more balanced. There are some surgeons that do body contouring for FTMs. I think Garramone and Rumer are two surgeons that do it.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.
