 :(
I am really disgusted in my male under arm & pubic hair.
Is this normal?

I really don't like looking at new growth. So I try and keep it shaved.

Also the word shave bother me because it is a word that a male uses.

Weird huh?

Women shave too and use the word.

Maybe you can wax instead.

I hope no one will try and tell you what is normal or not about how you feel.  As transgender people we are atypical to begin with.  When I was at the cosmetology and esthetician offices it seemed that the place was mostly full of women and most of them were likely cisgender.  Getting their hair blasted off with laser, electrolysis, epilation and waxing was apparently the prime motivator.

Personally i love to see women do their own thing and that can mean full body hair is just as cool as hairlessness.  I have blasted much of my facial hair and don't really enjoy shaving the rest but it is part of accepting a role I like.  Some women SHAVE their legs every day.  We are seeing a current cultural trend toward absent pubic hair which seems almost infantile to me but whatever floats your boat, it's your body your way.  :D

In our big city we say "Keep Portland Weird"  I'm doing my part ;D

I am reminded of growing up not really understanding that women actually do grow hair under their arms and on their legs not unlike men.  I was astonished and intrigued by the first adult woman I noticed with full and gorgeous hair.  Wow, viva la difference

Not at all weird. I have always been disgusted with ALL my body hair.
My skin is hypersensitive, always has been. The feeling of the body hair on my body bothers me.
And under arm and pubic..... the WORST...UGH!!!
Not a big fan of having body hair of others in contact with me either.
It just grosses me out in general.

I had a lot of rashes and stuff as a kid, EVERYTHING! irritated it.
I actually think it's a germ phobia of some kind in me. I'm not like a hardcore germ phobe wiping everything down and what not, I just see body hair as a convient access point for parasites and other infections. Not to mention a major skin irritation as new hairs replace old ones. Even if I don't shave. It always itches.

Yeah not weird at all. I have shaved my underarms and waxed down there for many years. I have noticed that HRT though, creates a more female looking pubic patch and that is sort of cool.

I really also hated leg hair and did since i was a teen. I have shaved, epilated, or waxed my legs for a long time.

thank you all for understanding.

I just wish I had money to get full body laser, but that isn't going to happen.

My facial hair just does not seem to be slowing, my body hair just after 2 years
seems to be slowing.

But facial is pretty darn hard to hide eh? DOH...
