Modelling and transgender at 19, mtf

I think I would like to join a modellig agency, but I do not know how I could possibly do it and how would it actually work. I never looked into modelling as a career path, but since becomingg a girl i have experienced some confidence boosters along the way with normal people who view me as completely passable and ask sometimes if im a model and what not. Also randomly yesterday i first time randomly went on a dating website just to really see if i was passable and what not- but did not  say i was transgender in the app-, and got a pretty large amount of normal good looking straight guys messaging me and what not and two did ask if i was a model. So ofcourse, this is an amazing confidence boost, because usually im extremely insecure about myself.
Im white, 5'8 (maybe too short?) and 34" by 26" by 34" and broadish shoulders, no muscle definition anywhere, slender, 130 pounds. Short hair. No surgery what so ever.

Anyways, i did try to apply to an agency two months ago and did get an audition, but at that time was too scared to go to the audition and chickened out  . (Should i reapply to this agency???)
I want to do fashion or magazine modelling, but since im Pre op, i cant and wont do swimsuit or underwear modelling for obvious and conservative reasons.
Also since i think im pretty and passable ( not 100% sure ofcourse), ive been debating on modelling as transgender (might give me an extra leg up and help me get into the industry quicker probably) or just applying for modelling just as a girl.

Also ofcourse im looking to grow my hair out, but im worried that the agency might not want me to if they like how i look now better.

I just dont see alot of people doing this sort of thing and would like to know if anyone else is having a similar experience or experienced this before!!!! And just any considerate guidence would be much appreciated.
And anything that can really help me push myself to do it would be extremely helpful as well.

sure! you're at a good age for modeling. How long ago did you transition?

I didn't transition till 28 and still did some minor amateur modeling (runway and print) in my 30s. Not optimal for a real 'modeling career' but it was something. You could have better chances frankly.

You have to get up the nerve to actually go to the casting calls though. And just tell them you're not comfortable doing swim/lingerie.

I just know that alot of models start when they were young before 18, but yea i guess 19 isnt that old to do fashion modelling.
Did u or anyone had trouble along the way? I just want to know more about that

Well in truth, I didn't do it until after surgery so I did do swim and lingerie, etc. I didn't really have any trouble but it was partially because I felt much more confident and comfortable with my body after surgeries.

My mom was a model for a big chunk of her life, and I plan to model (though I'm ftm, not mtf).

The main characteristics they want, are: clear skin, decent height (over 5'6... My mom was 5'7 and still got plenty of work), a good figure (which you seem to have. You have great measurements) and a "natural" good physique (as in what you described - not super fit, not super unfit). They look for girls who have unusual looks that are still beautiful, hence why a lot of trans models like Andreja Pejic are popular - they have some masculine features (pronounced cheekbones, thick brows, more definition in the face in general, as well as the extra height) and then more female traits. They're always looking for different people, and they're likely to be a bit more lenient on the typical standards if you're trans. Provided you keep healthy, have a healthy bmi, and perfect your walk, you're good to go!

  Even if you don't get into a typical modelling agency, there's always the smaller agencies around the world who specifically look for transgirls, and then at that you could always go independent and work on things yourself. If you ever want some tips or help with it, feel free to message me.
