Annis

Hello all. It hasn't really been long since I discovered being transgender but since then there is a great deal of things that make more sense in my life. My story starts at 2am on a summer night living on a mountain. I was standing in the dark watching a doe eating apples off the tree outside. That is the first moment I clearly thought I would be happier as a woman. It was a revelation and it made me happy; however, it would be a secret I would hold on to for months. Since then I started school as a computer engineer and I love it.

I am out to many of my friends but only my wife knows as far as family. It is a frustrating time right now as it has only been a few months and we still don't know where we stand. I am hopeful for the future and have a plan for moving forward. I also have 2 beautiful girls ages 3 and 2.

I cannot begin to express how much I have learned in the last few months. Not just about the community but about myself. I am continuing to grow and work on myself and hopefully be able to provide a better life for my family.

For those who have helped me in the last few months, I want to express my gratitude and I hope to return the favor.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
