Is Someone trying to tell me something?

This is becoming a comedy of errors.

In December I sold a block of stock at a fair profit...enough for multiple visits to Electrology 3000 in Dallas.  Of course now, much of my electrolysis fund is going to pay Dee's medical and hospital bills from the appendectomy.

Then last week the doctor said I was too old for HRT but she still recommended the orchi.

Well, today was the appointment with the urologist and I got there at 12:50 for my 1:20 appointment.  The receptionist searched through the afternoon list and nothing.  My appointment was 10:20 this morning.  Apparently when we transcribed the time to our calendar,  we dropped the 0.

I think I've been a good person but is the Lord, Karma or whoever you believe is in charge trying to tell me something.   It's a good thing this is getting funny or I would be really depressed.

I know the feeling....

Sometimes you think the world is against you but that's not the case.

Just relax and think. I believe everything happens for a reason - even if that reason is just to make us stronger or to test our resolve.

I had a psychologist appointment I waited 4 months for, and I arrived to find out they sent a text message to an incorrect number the day before to confirm the appointment and as I didn't reply they gave my appointment away.

That's life -

Take care

The Comedy of Errors.

I think we have all had days, weeks, months like that. I know that they have happened to me more times than I like but such is life.

Trust, trust God and keep moving forward. Set backs happen to everyone, how we deal with such set backs marks  as a person.  And get a new doctor, fast.

I agree about getting a new doctor. If you're willing to accept the risks then there's no reason for them to deny treatment, regarding HRT.

Sorry you're having a rough time. It will get better, hang in there! :)

Sorry that all is happening. Luckily every day is an opportunity to do it all over again.

I'd also find a new doctor. Too old for HRT sounds suspect.

Mr. Murphy at it again, eh?  I really do not like that guy! :)
I am concerned that your doc is recommending an orchi, since he or she does not consider you to be a good candidate for HRT, and we need hormones to function properly.

Hi  BeverllAnn, that's my life one giant comedy of errors, if it wasn't for very bad luck I would have no luck at all. But I stole fight to get no where every day, maybe some day things will work out for me before I go nuts and have to be put away. At lest I can lafe about how ridicules it all is most of the time.

I think we've passed Murphy and gone all the way to O'Tooles Corollary. "The perversity of the Universe tends towards a maximum."

The original recommendation for the orchi was from my therapist because there actually is a medical reason for it.  I have pretty bad pain on the left side, enough to double me over sometimes and right side is atrophied and a 10X higher cancer risk than normal.  My urologist was already talking about removing a portion of the left side anyway which would have the same effect since the right side isn't functioning.  So the complete orchi is more for my psychological benefit anyway.  I am trying to get an appointment with another endo here and if that doesn't work there are at least two medical practices in Atlanta who do informed consent.  At least my wonderful wife Dee is not letting me get down too much and she may be more determined than me.  She even took me out for some retail therapy Friday and I got some really cute tops.

BeverlyAnn, a orchi maybe the best for you in the long run, removing them would end the pain.
