"(CNN) — Scientists have discovered a new species of Tyrannosaur that helps explain how the T. rex turned into such a giant beast.

A team of experts from Edinburgh University, along with colleagues from Russia and the U.S., discovered fossilized remains in Uzbekistan and identified a new species called "Timurlengia euotica."

Ever since I was a little kid, I've always been a dinosaur enthusiast.  I'm still a sucker for every dinosaur discovery that comes out.  Everybody loves the big raptors, but my favorite has always been triceratops.  My favorite scene in Jurassic Park is the one where Laura Dern takes care of the sick triceratops.
