Here in Morocco in the Arab world for 2 weeks I HAVE to (for my safety) pass "stealth" as a woman. It is actually kind of neat to have been successful at this so far. I am simply regarded as a WOMAN -- never mind the trans part. For my safety I've told ONE local person face to face that I'm trans (it was a necessity to do so). He advised me to tell no one else here in person. My legs are covered in public here, but my hair and face are exposed and I wear normal full make-up + nail polish just as I did in London and Barcelona. I do NOT recommend Morocco as a place to START a transition. My passport is female so I get zero hassles crossing international borders which is great. One can live in Morocco if one is ready to go "stealth" (meaning, don't tell anyone you are trans -- be yourself as a woman (but cover legs and arms in public).
