So lately I've been struggling with the fact that I am infertile and possibly never going to have a biological child. Its devastating and depressing specially realising it at such a young age. I dont know how I am going to feel when I am older. Also this is probably going to be a big problem for future relationships. I really would like to have my own children  :'(

I have been on hormones for a year and I dont know if its still possible to stop hormones and produce healthy reproductive cells. Also stopping hormones and seeing unwanted changes are stressing.

Any ideas of how to cope with this or what should I do? I am really scared that I am going to regret that I didnt store my reproductice cells.

Here is a link to an article of a trans woman who went off hrt:

You could basically go off hrt for a few months, and store sperm. It should be covered in your country. Sperm might be usable for ten years then.

There were articles of gay people possibly being able to have egg cells made from skin cells so they could reproduce within the next years ... they gave five years as number ...

and many people adopt children ... possibly even giving a transgender child a good home ...

If you go off hormones the ejaculation liquid should stop being clear from a certain time on.
Then you could have a sperm count, and freeze it.

But many people consider the other options too.
