In a previous post I wrote about how when I used to live as a woman part-time I actually had men flirting with me. Interestingly enough this mainly happened when I would wear gender neutral styles of clothing.
Things like
-leggings/tights
-hoodies
-shirts
When I would wear dresses or skirts I got 0 attention from men.
Maybe I'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of gal? 🤔
My understanding is that clothing for some trans folks can play a role in their own sense in how they present to society.
I can say that I felt much more comfortable in jeans and t-shirts as a woman. However, this one time I put together this fantasticly cute outfit that was the opposite of pants and a t-shirt. I actually felt really good looking in that outfit. Yeah, I also got some attention from men...lol
As a man I present as an outdoorsy guy. People have described me as a "Mountain Man" before. And, yes I used too live in the heart of the Canadian Rockies...lol.
I really don't want to lose the outdoorsy nature side of me. Perhaps, that part of me will always be apart of me no matter what I decide to do.
On a side note I spoke to wifey about my mental health issues. My partner doesn't know about my diagnosis of gender dysphoria. But she encouraged me to go to counseling (which I am currently going to). Wifey also said to me that I can't get to the bottom of my mental health issues unless I am honest with myself. I THINK SHE KNOWS OR SUSPECTS SOMETHING!
