Did anyone have the choice to have foreskin/uncircumcized?

FTMax

Never heard of that being an option with phalloplasty. With metoidioplasty I believe you are technically uncircumcised.

I just would hate to have it that tiny though... I want a 5 inch uncircumcized.

Do you suppose metoidioplasty has more feeling in it?

I think circumcised looks nicer and is more hygienic.

So in other words are you saying that if I have significant clit growth the metiodplasty possibly would be sufficient in getting what I want?

Not if you want 5 inches. The most I've heard guys getting from meta is 3", and that was in extreme cases. Somewhere between 1"-3" is common.

You would need to ask a surgeon, but they may be able to sculpt the glans during phalloplasty in a way that *looks* like you're uncircumsized. But it wouldn't behave like foreskin. It would just look as though you had it.

What are your desires and expectations?

I can't really have any because I haven't started T yet. It may be awhile before I can do so.

You can have a wish list :) But it's best to expect the average and not the extreme.

Ultimately what it really comes down to is what you want to do with it. If penetration is your goal, metoidioplasty may not be the most appropriate procedure for you. There are certainly guys who can penetrate, using the right positions, post-meta. But with phalloplasty and an erectile device, there would be no question that you could penetrate.

FTMax summarized very well.  One goal for me is standing to pee through the fly in my pants at a urinal.  From what I have read 3 in minimum is needed and this length is possible with metoidioplasty but many times you end up with less.  Also penetration is not always possible so I am probably looking at a phalloplasty with a erection device.  I still like the look of the uncircumcised penis, will have to see what is possible when I am ready.

I have no idea, I'm pre-everything. But I have heard phalloplasty and other penis surgeries are without foreskin. Foreskin is so hard to make, therefor they are without it. If you watch episode 2 of "My transexual summer", the TV-show, you can see how a trans man's penis looks alike.

Mod Edit- TOS 4 video shows things that break TOS 4 due to nudity.

That's nice. It looks very natural. Thank you for sharing this clip, Sebby.

With phalloplasty you choose how many inches, right?

To an extent. It depends on what size your donor site can accommodate. It's really only limited if you choose the forearm. I think you can go as big as you want with the thigh or back, but the arm is limited to the length of your forearm minus a few inches for the vein the harvest.

I'd use my thigh, because I don't want my forearm torn up like that.

That could be offensive to some folks. Not everyone has a choice in what donor site they're able to use. For guys like myself, the forearm was the option I least wanted, but it was the only one my surgeon was confident wouldn't result in extra surgeries for me. So as much as I don't like it, my forearm is going to look a little rough.

What will you tell people about the scar who don't understand that you're trans? It makes me think that its an indicator for other transmen to find you out! Sorry if it was offensive. I guess people have them tattooed over?

I would tell them I had surgery and leave it at that. It's an incredibly rude question to ask a stranger, so I wouldn't dignify it with an answer.

I was told that it could not be tattooed over until at least a year after the surgery based on skin quality. And you would also need to have your surgeon map out on the arm where they have relocated nerve endings to. The nerves are going to be much closer to the surface than they would've been otherwise, and you could end up with neuropathy if the artist hits one.
