Hairline Forehead Lift, Hairline Lowering and Orbital Bony Contour:
(Softening the brow bone and elevating the eyebrows) This procedure is performed under a general anesthetic and takes about 1½ hours. An incision is made at the hairline, the forehead is loosened, the brow bone is shaved, the forehead is elevated and excess skin is trimmed off at the hairline. The technique that Dr. Mayer has developed allows the hair to grow through and in front of the incision – that is why the incision is completely concealed. The cost of this procedure is $8000 – that includes the doctor's fee, operating room fee and anesthesia.
Rhinoplasty with Weirs (bringing your nostrils closer together):
The Rhinoplasty procedure is performed to feminize the nose by changing its size and sculpting the nasal structures, so that the nose is in harmony with other facial features. When the surgery is performed to improve appearance, the nose is reshaped on an individual basis to achieve a more desirable, natural and non-surgical shape. This is in contrast to the unfortunately common and obvious surgical appearance of the scooped-out, turned-up nose with a pinched tip. Rhinoplasty may also improve your nasal breathing if the septum is deviated, or if you suffer from allergies or sinus problems. Regardless of what is needed – removal of a hump, decreasing the length or width of the nose, correcting a deviation or in some cases building up nasal depressions – Dr. Mayer tailors your procedure to be in harmony with your face. Since 63% of the patients he performs the Rhinoplasty procedure on are revisions of another doctor's previous work, we know first-hand that Rhinoplasty is a particular talent and not one that can be taught. First it is conceptual, and equally as important is the ability to actually create a more feminine nose that would best compliment your face. Dr. Mayer is world renown for natural results. There is minimal discomfort following the Rhinoplasty procedure, and any discomfort can be controlled with mild analgesics. A cast/splint is placed on the nose for approximately six days.
Dr. Mayer would refine your tip, straighten your nose (it's crooked) and take down the hump from the bridge. The weirs procedure is performed from the inside of your nostrils. He makes an incision, removes a wedge bringing the nostril closer to the center. He may place a "radix" cartilage graft at the top of your bridge between your eyebrows to bring that area up slightly – this he can discuss during his Skype with you. The cost of this procedure is $9700 separately and $8700 with the above.
Cheek Implants:
Cheek Implants are made from a hard silastic material and are generally placed by making a little opening in the mouth at the juncture where the gums meet the cheeks. The Cheek Implant is placed into a natural pocket and the incision is closed with absorbable suture. In western civilization, high cheekbones are generally considered ideal, and prominent cheekbones improve facial contour and accentuate the eyes. The risks are minimal in the hands of a world-class plastic surgeon.
The cost for this procedure is $5300 separately and $4300 with the above procedures.
Chin Reduction/Contour with Submental Liposuction:
(Mentoplasty – plastic surgery of the chin): In your case, the deformity is most likely an over-developed chin, a chin that projects too much. A small incision is made in a natural indentation under the chin, the chin is shaved to the point that it is in balance with the lower lip and closed using tiny stitches. Stitches are removed at six days.
Dr. Mayer would suction the fat out from under your chin and along your jawline to give you a sharper jawline. The cost of this procedure is $6000 separately and $5000 with the above.
Subnasal Lip Lift with Fat Augmentation:
There are two techniques for performing the Upper Lip Lift: 1) Make an incision around the base of the nose, shorten the distance between the nose and the lip by raising the lip and trimming off excess skin at the base of the nose. 2) Make an incision around the upper lip, remove the skin between the incision and the lip, and suture it closed. Both of these procedures require a great deal of skill. The doctor must be extremely detail- oriented for a successful result. Stitches are in place for 6 days. The cost for this procedure is $4000 separately and $3000 with the above.
Thyroid Cartilage Shave:
An incision is made in a natural crease in your neck. The trachea is shaved and tiny stitches are used to close the incision. Stitches are removed six days later. Once it is healed, you won't even be able to find the incision.
Dr. Mayer can use the technique similar to the technique used in hemming a skirt. He would make a loop in one end and in six days after surgery you would just pull the end and the stitches would come out. In that case, you would only need to be here let's say Monday for your consultation/pre-operative appointment, Tuesday for your procedure, Dr. Mayer would check you on Wednesday and you could fly out that day. Ten days after surgery, you would just pull the end to release the stitches. Dr. Mayer has experienced no complications in the hundreds of thyroid cartilage shave procedures he has performed over the past 30 years.

Voice Feminization:
The sole purpose for this procedure is to change the pitch of a male voice into the female range. It will not help you sing better or strengthen your voice. It allows you to better conform to a female if your voice sounds female. You will be pleasantly surprised to find that you can listen to patients who have gone through the Voice Modification procedure. The cost of this procedure is $7000 separately and $6000 with the above. This can be discussed with Dr. Mayer at your Skype consult as well.
