What is your body type?

I read this article and I thought it was pretty good. Several women are guilty of not dressing properly for their body types. The don't wear the right bra size and cannot find a pair of jeans to fit them to save their life. First rule is to find your body type and find clothes that make that body look good.

Here is the article, I hope you learn as much from it as I did.

If the shoe fits, buy it in every color.

thnx for the link. I can't figure out which one I am, I'm kinda in between some. I don't have a big waist, and my my shoulders and hips are around the same size. But I'm not very fat or have big boobs. I've had people say that my body is attractive. *shurgs* My body is also changing all the time. Recently it's been going crazy and my clothes aren't fitting correctly. My tops are too big, and my jeans are getting too small. It's good, but also annoying and getting expensive to shop all the time.

I just bought some new clothes last month, and already a bunch aren't fitting correctly. So many of my tops are really starting to look like tents!

Welcome. Ever wonder why women have so many clothes? They have fat clothes, and skinny clothes, and clothes for inbetween. As much as a womans body yo-yos its hard to keep up unless you are just one that eats and exercises properly all the time. Then they have fall clothes, summer clothes, winter clothes and spring clothes with fat summer, skinny summer, and normal summer....and so on and so forth for each season.

I'm still not sure what body type I am either. I have not even completed 5 months of HRT yet so as my body is still going through some pretty radical changes. Plus I'm trying to lose weight...except for that damn cheese. Its slowly coming off but its as slow as waiting for HRT.

Definitely not hour-glass  ::)  I think it's lollipop, somewhere around there... :P

I would define myself as a mostly eaten lollipop.

A stick with just a little bit left on top.  :P

I'm a cornet, me.

And I suspect I'm not the only one.

"Perfect for the catwalk" it says. "Human coathanger". Mmm.

None really look like me, a mix of Collumn/Cornet and lollipop.

Much leaner and sleek than any of those, that's
what you get when you have a size 8, top, size 6-7 bottom, 6 foot lady.
The WHR ratio of any of them wasn't that good, about 0.8.

Hi all,
I don't find 'Basketball' as one of the shape choices.....

Funny...I don't see stupid looking male with boobs. Oh well..maybe in a few months I'll resemble something more feminine.

Think I'm a lollipop to be honest, but not sure, seems about right

I just tend to wear whatever I think looks goot at teh time though lol, skinny jeans, skinny tops etc, I hate baggy clothes. Kinda frustrating being slim though, wouldn't mind some curves, am size 8 at the mo, but often have to buy size 6 cause I've no tumble dryer so clothes have a tendency to grow lol.

Peeps are being too hard on themselves here.  I'm lollipop.  Most international models are lollipops ;)

Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine, the authors of "The Body Type Bible" referred to in the original post, were on British television last night persuading all the women in some obscure town to get properly fitted for their bras! The programme was the first in a series called "Trinny and Susannah Undress: The Nation" - next week it's knickers I believe (that's panties to you American girls)!
Some people can't stand Trinny and Susannah, but I love them.

Idk what I am.
My legs make up most of my mass, I'm like a cornet but with big legs.
size 0 pants still...

Cornet.

I *really* like my shape... but only when in the right clothes. If I get the clothes wrong, I look BAD. When I get it right though... lol... it's a lot of fun.

I used to HATE being so tall. Now I love it, lol. Ya gotta learn to have fun with whatever you have...

How can you like being tall!!! :D

If your tall and not broad, small frame for a man, then its a good thing. You look good in almost any clothes and even a couple of pounds extra doesn't make you look dumpy.

Most models are over 5 foot 10, there's a reason for that.

Exactly! My wife absolutely HATES me for it... which is like the greatest compliment, lol.

I used hate being tall because I thought it would prevent passing, but it's turned out to be a complete non-issue.
