State id and gender marker question

I changed my Arkansas ID marker from M to F last year.   It was a big victory for me, but recently my ID turned up missing.  I do have a photocopy of the lost ID.  What are the chances that if I attempt to get a new ID in Louisiana they will put an M instead of an F on it?  I need an ID but getting a male marker would be traumatic for me.  I want to know what to expect.  Going back to Arkansas would be the easiest solution, but legal ramifications prevent me from going there....
