Transferring next year to an adult GIC from Tavistock children's clinic - wondering if people have any info / experiences with adult clinics? Wanting to transfer to the best one possible.

I'm based in East Yorkshire and wouldn't be able to travel ridiculously far for appointments.

The main things I'm looking for is low waiting lists, fast routes to top surgery and quality of care.

Thanks in advance!

There are sites with waiting lists ...

the laurels usually have short waiting lists and a good reputation ...

Just be mindful the data on UKtransinfo is six months out of date now, Northampton has experienced an, as they put it, explosion in referrals, essentially the same as the laurels early last year after word got out that they had a short wait list. Northampton went from something like 65 a year to 65 a month and their wait list is much longer now than indicated in any of the published data,  Other GIC's should have more stable lists other than the general increase in referrals so you can draw better conclusions from the data on UKTransInfo

I was told that there were separate waiting lists for those being referred from Tavistock / already at a clinic to first appointments - haven't had much luck finding figures for that specifically.

Thanks for the responses!

Well just keep in mind its not only the first appointment.
Times between appointments also are supposed to be shorter with other clinics.
