Susan

I want to thank everyone who donated or contributed to reach our goal and to eliminate the shortfall that we have accumulated over the last few months! With your help we have now reached and surpassed the break even point, which will enable me to at last schedule the appointment to get me back on my hormone replacement therapy! I am so excited!

I want to give recognition to:

Samantha C, JoanneB, SamiT, JessicaSondelli, Rachel Lynn, NikkiJ, Michelle_P, marie, lilijames, HappyMoni, EmmaD, Emileeeee, Devlyn Marie, Bluetmp, BeverlyAnn, valerie anne, sasaki, SamKelley, Robyn, KatieSeattle, JessieA, FrancisAnn, Eva Marie, Dayta, Autrement, ryokohimura, Violet Bloom, rosinstraya, Rem, Ravens_cry, MsMouse, Mickey58, Maria77, KelliL, joanie, FriendsCallMeChris, Dana60, Beth Andrea, Riley111, Jenelle, Elena2015,  laura_j81, HeatherR, ToniB, Stevie, Skyler, Shiratori, Saki, rose826, pj, Ny, Marcia, MANDY GG, Lucie, KathyLauren, Josefa, HouseHippo, geri, emyrinth, ElizabethK, deecee, Cynobyte, chaseinspace, awilliams1701, amsj42, Blackierobinson, Skyler, zirconia, yourstrulydanae, valerie anne, Sophieraven, SonadoraXVX, Soli, LoriLorenz, LeeLee, Kristinagl, Kathyroland, Jonathan L, Jennifer.L, Jannet.duff, ElricOfAmestris, claraevening, AprilV, and Aazhie. There were 9 non-members, and 25 additional members who chose not to be recognized

The website's bills were always paid first, and I lived off of whatever was remaining. So most of the shortfall came out of my pay during those five months.

So, I will be making a few personal purchases from the my portion of the shortfall, with much of the remainder being used to renew the depleted monetary buffers. This will ensure that the money for each month is fully in the bank before it begins, instead of being forced to rely on uncertain funds coming in to cover the monthly  expenses.

These are my personal allocations.

$500 for hormone replacement therapy which covers the blood test, doctors visit, initial injection, travel expenses, and hopefully the first months prescriptions.

I have also spent $250 to replace my Kindle Fire HDX which provides roughly 90% of my personal entertainment. The screen on my last Kindle broke at the bottom of the device around two months ago, rendering the bottom 2 1/2 inches of the screen unresponsive, and making me have to flip it over anytime I wanted to access controls in that area. It was inconvenient, however I could live with it, and continued to use it in that manner, until last week when the battery quit accepting any charge. The new Kindle should arrive tomorrow! You really don't realize how much you rely on something, until you no longer have it!

I also replaced my bed sheets and pillowcases, purchased a new broom, two LED light bulbs, and a rack to hang clothes on.

The remaining $4,000 or so will serve as a safety buffer as previously described.
