One of the problems with prejudices is when they come back to bite you on the backside once you become the very sort of person you had an "issue" with in the first place.
I wouldn't say it was a "prejudice" as such, just an attitude. Many years ago, when I started using forums - not trans, just hobby, tech support or lifestyle - I'd always notice that there were one or two members on those boards who had well over ten thousand posts and I'd snort to myself, "get a life why don't you?"
Now that is me!!

Sucked in, me; get a life why don't you!
oh well... lesson learned!! I realise now those people no doubt had as many posts as they did because they either enjoyed their time with the community and/or they felt they contributed something of worth.
When I first signed up to Susan's I don't think I even expected I'd be around for more than 100 or so posts. Yet here I (still) am! The community is, for the most part, always changing - people coming and going with a few stalwarts here to shore up the feeling of continuity (you know who you are!!

) - but I do enjoy this community and the support and friendship it provides. And, in the little ego parade that is my mind, I presume I do contribute something of worth some of the time!

So yeah, I've become one of THOSE people!
For those of you who are just starting out on the forum, I know it can seem daunting when you see huge post counts amassed by some members. Just join in with the conversations and the games and before you know it...
I understand why if you can't, but I do hope you stick around and continue to be part of the community!
