Could my dermatologist be lying?

I recently had a consultation with a dermatologist who does laser hair removal, and while I have a dark 5 o clock shadow, some of my facial hair looks almost blondish and I read it really doesn't work well with blonde hairs. So after she evaluated me she said i was a good candidate? Well for some reason I'm worried I'm really not and that she is just saying I am to get me to pay for treatments. I did grow out my facial hair a little so she could see the hair. Also since I had an orchiectomy a few years ago she said that could possible help. But idk? Should I take her work for it or be paranoid?

Those hairs that have enough dark pigment will be effected. It could take plenty sessions before those hairs get removed permanently (how many depends on how dark these hairs are). As for the light brown and blonde hairs, those will not get removed with laser. Being paranoid wont help. Only electrolysis will help with those hairs.

Many people start with laser and clear up with electrolysis.
There are newer laser models which also work on darker skin and lighter hair colours.
You could aks for a second opinion at another place.

She is right with having an orchi / hrt helping.
Usually with estrogen and less testo hair becomes more fine.
