I completely understand how you felt going out in public dressed for the first time. The first time I did it was at work for a party. I showed up and had some coworkers really like what they saw (even knowing that it was me). Others had to be told who was the woman was. And once they realized they were even more surprised. Everybody was supportive. I was nervous going in, but soon was able to relax, and just be me. One thing that was surprising to some of my friends was how well I could walk in high heels. I t was one of those moments that boosted my confidence. And helped in confirming the real me. As a result I continued to go out in public as me.
Congrats on your first public outing as you. May you enjoy more positive times.

That's amazing that some people didn't even recognize you! I was around complete strangers so that made things really scary, but I'm so glad I got to do that! Walking in heels is kind of natural to me, for whatever reason XD but I'm glad you had a good first time too!!! :D

When I decided to go out in public for the first time I really took my time concerning what I would wear and what to choose for makeup. I spent a lot of time in the store picking out the dress. And making sure I picked the right shades and colors for my makeup.
Thanks, Link, for the kind words.

It is your bravery that I admire most!  Choosing to be yourself is a big challenge, and I honor you for having stepped across that threshold.  It is a badge of honor that you acknowledge yourself and you are, and don't allow society's prejudices to rule your live!

You have reminded me of my first moment, long, long ago, and I look back on it fondly.

Remember:  You are YOU, and you have every right to feel joy in being exactly who you want to be!

I wish you love and good luck on your journey to the self!

It was so challenging because my mother isn't very accepting of my transition, so going out in public next to her while I was in a dress was a challenge in of itself because she wasn't happy with it. I was seriously scared she was going to do something or someone was going to call me out but nope it all went perfectly fine and there was nothing to worry about o.o

I still haven't done makeup other than my nails XD And you're welcome!!! :) I hope it's gotten a lot easier for you to go out in public since then!
