Glenn Beck Predicts Pedophilia is the 'Next Stop on This Train'

"Though the radio host said gay marriage was "pushed through" by President Barack Obama's administration, he said Americans would have excepted it within a few years, regardless, because it "was already on that path."

But the push for transgender equality, Beck argued, is something entirely different.

"Transgender bathrooms have come out of nowhere, and are being jammed down our throat," Beck claimed. "I guarantee you — I guarantee you — the next stop on this train is pedophilia. I guarantee it. They will normalize pedophilia."

More from the Conservative peanut gallery.   These guys make up stuff to be scared of.  They're like vampires that feed off of fear and confusion instead of blood.

Beck is someone whose view on anything can be safely ignored.

Possibly Glen Beck should be asked why he would be thinking about such a thing and which train he's riding on

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

I didn't even know Glenn Beck was still around and people listened to him.
You'd think the pedophilia thing would have been over by now, since homosexuals failed to bring forth a wave of rampant pedophilia, but such Conservative pundits aren't exactly known for being bright.
Personally, it delights me to know that such thinking is going the way of racism. Today it's considered mean, or intolerant, or even prejudice to criticize and "trash talk" back, but it's not too far away from when we'll be able to make jokes about such people because those views won't be tolerated. I probably won't live to see that day, but the days of such yankers is limited, and their views will be known as absurd and ridiculous.

I wonder if we really need to give voice to every delusional power-hungry transphobe on the planet.

Here, Suzi, in the Place, or in general? Everyone has a voice and some of them are bound to echo and resonate. Distasteful or not, we need to hear them in order to be prepared to counter them. I usually read or listen just enough to see if they have anything new to say then I shudder and stop paying attention.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

To be fair, I know a lot of folks on the right who think Beck us a raving lunatic, but none who take him seriously.  He really is in Alex Jones territory, and losing money hand over fist as he gets nuttier and nuttier.
When in doubt, ignore the moral judgments of anybody who engages in cannibalism.

I think that what Colleen said gets close to the heart of the matter - Beck is desperately trying to stay relevant and will say anything to make that happen. Unfortunately, he has carried it too far with some of his far out stunts and as a result people are becoming less and less interested in what he has to say.

As a part of trying to stay relevant he has jumped onto the anti-transgender bandwagon and the crazy stuff coming out of his mouth continues. I look for him to continue to fade away.

Well I was talking about the news area. The blogosphere is replete with all manner of ignorance and prejudice and I don't see any benefit to reposting all of it here and talking about it. To qualify for discussion here, I'd like to think there would have to be something new or worthy of consideration.

Posting unsavory things from blogs is one thing probably not fruitful here.  Posting those things from people who have a national voice is because it keeps the entire conflict in perspective.

That is very true. It's much easier to debate and counter, and appear an effective and skillful debater, when you know your opponents positions ahead of time. You'll know what to expect, the flaws of what they say, and how to best counter them. And it really makes "them" look bad when you know their own ideologies and labels better than they do.
