"Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton believes that there's a problem with the Obama administration's guidelines on transgender students: The government's stance will allow trans people to flip back and forth between genders as they please.

The AG appeared on Fox & Friends Wednesday, where Paxton spoke with the program's Brian Kilmeade about recently announced federal policy that advises school districts across the country to allow trans youth to use public restrooms and locker rooms that correspond with their gender identity. This position is spelled out in a 25-page document that will be sent to schools, spelling out "best practices.""

Ironic that the AG making these claims is under investigations for felonies.

These are all match stick arguments. They can't stand up. People don't flip flop. Most schools require parental and medical involvement. What boy would go through that ridicule? And these turkeys are flying their diatribe in the face of support from the American Medical Association.

I hope this crap gets resolved in the courts well before the general election.

But, I think that it was more of a reference to the Mike Huckabee school of thinking: "Gee, I feel like a girl today. Can I shower with the girls?" style of mental refuse.

As a Texan, I can comment that there is a real election year push to appeal to the "social conservatives" as the tried-and-true get-out-the-vote method here.  It is what it is.
