wow, did I just get phobiaized . I was at the restaurant I've gone to for 20 years. You  get free refills on coffee. I guess I was sitting there for a while on the internet and the manager that was there and the server that served me had also left . So , I'm dealing with not only a new server  , but with a very rude server who I have a feeling is quite the transphobe. I went up to the counter with the intention of paying for another cup because everyone left so I said refill because I had my own cup , but the girl sapped at me asking what I wanted and I said refill and she said I didn't serve you( which was obvious considering she just started her shift.  She said wheres your receipt , which I must of thrown out and wasn't going to go through the garbage. I've lived around here 20 years and everyone is so friendly and a lot of times I'll just get free coffee it really took me by surprise given the neighborhood   .Wow, she had this coldness in her eyes like probably I didn't belong on the same planet. I just went next store to the Starbucks where everyone calls me properly and got a reduced refill.

Some people just hate their jobs, their lives, and like to take it out on everybody else.

call the manager, file a complaint, and get a free meal next time you visit?

Regardless of the reasons, that was bad business, which costs repeat customers, and that's the last thing any relevant business wants to lose.
