Just made my day, out sitting in front of a cafe and a group of street huslers trying to scam people out of money with false leaflets about children teams kept staring at me then one of them finally said that's a man. Gee I wonder if they have ever encountered trans before.

Sounds like it happens even when totally passable. I saw a video on YouTube from Princess Jewels about her getting  clocked and she totally looks passable. I think it might have also been street people. What sense is it if the goal is to be authentic as a person and go from hiding as a guy then to hiding as a trans person? Only talking for myself. I could see an advantage to being not quite passable. Just has to deal with social stigma more. For sure there is friendlier city's than others. Make life happy.

I'm alright, I just got back from the LGBTQ.. heath clinic and walking to a restaurant a down pour from the heavens came crashing down and a man jump out of his car and gave me an umbrella and said here ma'am a gift. What a sweetie.

I've had a similar experience.

As I was crossing a busy street, these two men who looked to be about in their late 30s or early 40s were selling scented body oil on the street. One of them tried to stop me and called me "bro" when I was as clear as day presenting as female. Of course, i didn't bother responding back to them. Gee, i wonder why?

I mean, as a trans woman getting clocked can be a painful experience. Well, not every trans woman is as sensitive to being clocked as others but based on my experience the emotional pain will heal with time... like being shot in the leg with a bb gun.

But when i get clocked i would just walk past that person and ignore them like a piece of trash on the ground... unless of course i'm not in any physical danger.
They say identity theft is a crime. Well, needless to say, a crime has been committed. My identity has been stolen. No, no one knows my social security number or has my credit card. I'm walking around in the wrong body. I'm wearing a costume which I cannot remove... and the only way I can remove that costume, is through surgery

well, I told my therapist about it because that's where I was going when the mutants said that. She said consider the source.

most of us get clocked throughout the day, but most people are respectful enough not to say anything; street people however can be very rude, and feel so crappy about themselves, that they may go out of their way to make other people feel as bad as they do. As long as we accept ourselves, and are happy with who we are, the haters have no power over us.
