I've had a similar experience.
As I was crossing a busy street, these two men who looked to be about in their late 30s or early 40s were selling scented body oil on the street. One of them tried to stop me and called me "bro" when I was as clear as day presenting as female. Of course, i didn't bother responding back to them. Gee, i wonder why?
I mean, as a trans woman getting clocked can be a painful experience. Well, not every trans woman is as sensitive to being clocked as others but based on my experience the emotional pain will heal with time... like being shot in the leg with a bb gun.
But when i get clocked i would just walk past that person and ignore them like a piece of trash on the ground... unless of course i'm not in any physical danger.
