Keri

Hey and Hello,
I love Susan's. I am not on here much anymore.  I started my transition here.  My first post was saying.. Not sure where this is going... LOL  and now I have fully transitioned.

Seems like it happened over night now.

Living as a female with no way to go back can be a trip.

You begin seeing other females as yourself.  You understand so much. You learn what its like to be female.  And its not all good... but being true to yourself is wonderful.
I would never ever go back.  But I lost a lot.

Sometimes being with other girls, a dream come true from childhood is so amazing. I fit right in.  But wow are we different than men.  Like totally

Guys have it made in the shade... I am not one so I don't want to be one but I am jealous that they get to stand and pee and they can shower and walk out the door. Standing was so convenient.. LOL
I truly do see life from the other side.

Guys are aggressive.  Ugh.. They are large and in charge.  You have to be strong as a woman or you get run over.

Free drinks at clubs are wonderful but then they expect stuff......seriously it can get old. As a woman never smile and give a guy eye contact...unless you want him sitting with you.

I am living in the twilight zone... but happy to be there.

So, if your new to Susan's, the advise you will get here will be wonderful.  If you are just thinking about transition or just started, therapy is the most important thing you can do.. and please if your not happy with a therapist get a new one...

Love
Keri

Thank you Keri for being here and for staying.  You've been an inspiration.

I remember when I started lurking in the fall of 2014, wondering if I would ever make any progress with my transition.  Now, eighteen months later, I have my hormone letter, and will be seeing an endocrinologist on Monday.
