Hi, my name is Jess.

I am 19 and I live in Richmond, VA. I feel somewhat separated from the community but I want to be more involved. I want to talk to other people like me because let's face it, cis people can be kind of boring :)

I am kind of stuck in my transition process right now but ideally that'll change once I figure out how not to be poor. I came upon this site while looking for places to meet other trans women. I'm not sure what to expect mostly, but I would love to get to know some of you all!

Welcome to Susan's Place. Here we are all brothers and sisters so there is a good deal of sharing. We have people who are in all stages of the transition and some like me transitioned so long ago it's a distance memory. You can receive advice about most anything transition related and some people ask and receive job information. A site like this would have saved me an enormous amount of trouble and expense and I am here to help others avoid the problems that I faced. If you have any questions, feel free to post them on this thread and we will do our best to help you.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Hey, Jess. I think most all of us run into that money thing. It sucks but it will dog you for all of  your life. ;) You're still young. You can learn how to manage it. Go for it!

Hey Jess,

So this might sound like old mom advice but find something your passionate at. You can monetize almost anything with a little tweaking. Maybe you don't become a movie star but you could work in the industry set design,hair/makeup ect as an example but is a lot easier to do some you like
