Hilarious! I've actually been in the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile and got a history lesson on them from the drivers. It's very competitive to get the job and they go through a lot of interviews etc to get selected. I think there are only 6 or 8 wienermobiles in the US. The drivers are called "hotdoggers" by the company and it's usually just a one year gig. There are 2 drivers per vehicle and they drive around in their "territories" going from event to event representing/promoting the brand.
It sounds fun at first but there's a lot of commitment to the job and a lot of rules they have to follow. Plus, the two drivers better get along because they'll be together day after day...hotel after hotel...for the year.
How's that for a wet blanket on the fun?!?!
