Has anyone here personally or have known any one to get there ffs in Mexico it seems way cheaper.. but I'm a little worried about the medical standards and results. I've heard of and looked up a dr Lorenzo Cardenas and from what I've seen. He seems pretty good and the pricing for forehead contour . Brow lift, rhinoplasty. A nd jaw line , and breast implants all for around 16,500 and that includes 10 day stay with meals all covered this seems like a really good price compared to the us. So I'm looking for feedback from anyone who may have had surgery in Mexico. Thank tou

Hi, Randy.  You can try hitting the home button here within the forums area.  This should give you a list of all topics and areas that make up the forum.  Then, locate the search window in the top right-hand corner and run a search on Susans for Dr. Lazaro Cardenas.  You should find about 50 posts that you can review.  Your spelling was a little off on the first name, so you might not have found much if you searched already.

Regarding the standards of care, Dr. Cardenas has been a board-certified plastic surgeon since 1990 and is a member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons based in the U.S.  Our "Innovãre" hospital in Guadalajara is new and state-of-the-art.

I think the problem may be that you're using the wrong search window.  Start by clicking on the following link to the main forum page:

https://www.susans.org/forums/

Then, locate the search window on the right side of the page below the red "Help Support Susan's Place" banner. Type in Dr. Lazaro Cardenas and click the search button.

Hi

You did not state whether you were located in the US.  If so it sounds like you are willing to travel outside the US to have FFS.  I recommend you broaden your search for an FFS surgeon to other places outside the US.  I went to Buenos Aires, Argentina to have surgery by Dr Rossi.  Others have gone to Buenos Aires for Dr DiMaggio.  Even other people have gone to Europe.

I had FFS in November 2014 with Dr Cardenas and his team.  I am happy with the result.  My pic is about 5 weeks post op and I still had some swelling.  I travelled by myself from Australia and it was very easy.  The service means you actually just have to be present.  Everything else is done for you.

The medical facilities are modern and new (hospital opened in April 2014) and the after care with Vincente is first class.

Do try to find what others have said on this board.  There are some very long threads that I relied on in making my choice.  There are some less than complimentary commentaries as well as you would expect so it isn't all one-sided.  This is the internet after all!

Good luck with your search.

@randi1980 that's 16500 in USD or Mexican Pesos? 16500 does look like a huge amount.. I'm looking for an FFS myself..
