Thank you very much. That was a much needed assessment. I figured that until I can afford electrolysis, I'm going to have some trouble. And I'm not sure if I'd do anything about the thin lips yet. Maybe down the road someday, but we'll see.
And you pegged it on the location. My partner and I were doing some window shopping downtown and stopped for a couple drinks in the shade. I think there was a red light above that might have tinted me a little, but I do have a little bit of red in my face. Just started wearing the sleeveless tops and in trying to get rid of the farmer tan.
Thanks again Alex I really do appreciate the honesty.
Hugs
No problem, don't get rid of the tan - it suits you. You have a very kind face and beautiful honest eyes. If the tan is just lifestyle related then it'll fit way better than a blow dry and inflated lips will ever do.
I think the sleeveless too is great. It looks relaxed. Fat lips might look great on a 20 year old on the red carpet, but on anybody else, think carefully and maybe spend your cash elsewhere. If it goes well then great. If it goes wrong, it looks really wrong. You can probably survive a bad nose job - at worst, say you were in an accident. Bad lips however, there's no excuse, the entire face will be off kilter with no get out of jail free card. And many women do have naturally thinner lips - particularly as they clock up the decades.
I hate electrolysis - the boredom makes me weep. But don't be frightened about the sensation - it's honestly nothing. And presumably small fry compared to the grand finale. If you have a partner, it might work out cheaper to get him or her trained up and just do it at home.
I asked my electrolygist for a three hour appointment and she said she couldn't because of her back. Fair enough, but a bit disappointing, because it's really not all that sore. It's no massage, but it's not the hell that many say it is.
I don't know if you're the same, but I have a very bad habit of tallying things up in my head and thinking 'God, that is a ridiculous sum of money'. But electrolysis - it helps if you smoke admittedly - and you tally it down instead of up, and think, well twice a week, that is actually cheaper than a 20 pack a day.
