Yeah, for me the epilator just managed to remove less than half of the hair.  The rest of the hair broke at slightly above the surface of the skin.  As with everything and everyone, though, YMMV.  (Your Mileage May Vary)

I think the OP or mods might want to consider a thread title change to something more like " I'm looking for constructive ideas on improving my look"... I know that is a bit of a band aid approach but it might set a little different tone than subjective judgements concerning how closely we pass as something we are not.... Cis women... In the end, all we truly need to pass as is ourselves... Females!!!

Ashley, I totally agree with renaming the thread.
Having a question like "do I pass?" Has three outcomes: yes, no, yes with a little help.
No one wants to hear they don't pass, but if it were me, I would want to hear from those who have lived full time for at least a couple years. I wouldn't want advice from someone who's never presented in public yet. In the end, isn't living full time or presenting in public the real test?

Thank goodness I have a thick exterior. While I've never been outed, I do take constructive criticism for what it is - to help me.

wayyy too much black eyeliner  around the eyes. Next time don't do it in the middle part, only use black eyeliner on the top, don't put eyeliner on your waterline, and if you need to put black on the bottom lid I suggest eyeshadow; it's less harsh. In my opinion the way you have it makes you look like a gothic boy. If you only went halfway with it it would make a big difference.

This is great advice about the waterline! I don't normally use more than just eye shadow and lip gloss but I know I've made this mistake!

Another nice (popular)option is to use a white eyeliner in your waterline and inside corner, really opens the eye up.

sorry idk how to multi quote so don't feel left out by my general comment!  thanks all!! it really means a lot to know my smile is okay it was giving me a lot if anxiety and I woukd often refrain from smiling bc if it. ill keep working toward becoming confident and secure in it going forward!

@andracass you dont look bad at all, and i love the outfit it serously looks stylish. I do think your face needs some more time for hrt to soften it up and add a little fat in the right areas. If you don't mind me saying you're in the feminine guy zone (sorry no offense intended!) right now and over the course of the next about 7 months or so your features will slowly drift toward androgynous. While you're waiting on the painfully slow process (I hated waiting too and would think every day hurry up already darn it) to do its thing try practicing a bit with makeup and getting your eyebrows arched and cleaned up. Arched eyebrows go a very long way in making your face appear more feminine. Sephora is a great place to learn because the makeup artists give you all the help you need and are very trans friendly. Hope this helps :]
