I have been in contact with the UK passport service in London to change my gender and name. Expected a great deal of issues and difficulty but they quickly assigned me a person to serve me and when I finally went to the Bangkok passport service with the required documentation they informed me that it could take 4 weeks. Well 2 weeks later they let me know my new passport arrived. Of course I needed to prove I was the same person to my banks etc and they have asked me to go to the Embassy to facilitate this.
Now I need to return to HK to go to the banks personally to facilitate these changes. My HK id needs to be changed but this is even easier as with a hk id they identify me thru fingerprint scanning at hk airport.
My new names are Roberta Adele.
