hello all... so just general stuff here lol.. want to know, what does everyone wear when dressing.. what's considered to much. where do yall shop. who u shop with? who all know about you and how did you tell them..  are you able to get out dressed and do you? r u private about it? I know lots of questions but I just recently outed myself to some people and I'm trying to get more comfortable and stuff with it.. hugs

Hmmm, where to start...

After I came out to my wife, she bought me a couple of outfits and coached me a bit on hair, makeup, how to walk, and the basics of clothes that work for my body type. 

Shortly after that, I started shopping for myself dressed as a woman.

I shop by myself at the local mall, typically Macy's, Nordstrom, White House/Black Market, Ann Taylor and the Loft. 

I dress nicely, but not overly showy.  About half the time it's blouses and skirts, the other half dresses.

My guy and girl lives are pretty separate for now, but I expect to live a more integrated life in a few years after I hit some life goals.

Hi Bree!

I generally start with hosiery... I've loved wearing them since I was a kid.  I alternate between dresses and a skirt and top.  I have also started wearing flats rather than heels... much more comfy for all day wear.  I don't do makeup nor bras.  Sometimes I even pair a guy t-shirt with a skirt and flats... depends on my mood.

Whats too much? For my wife anything with a pronounced breast area is too much; this is our compromise and one that has been super easy to roll with.  Dresses, tops, and lingerie have muted or no breast area.  I don't have boobs so this isn't a big deal for me.

I shop in person with my wife at local stores and we buy things we like.  I also shop online (way better hosiery online) and found Zulilly and have bought some very nice dresses, skirts, slips, and tops.  Very reasonable deals too and lots to choose from.'

I'm not interested in going out and about dressed up. Maybe someday wearing hosiery with shorts but I wear hosiery with no socks when I wear pants.  I have some friends who know and have contemplated telling my wifes sister is is like an older kid for us (long story).
