Any Mass Effect fans out there?

Who plays Mass Effect? And what class do you play? Paragon or Renegade? I play as a Paragon Engineer FemShep, except in ME2 where I play as a soldier. In ME2 and 3 I focus heavily on sniping.

I'm a bit of a Mass Effect fan. I played a paragon adept femshep in all three games. I really love playing with the powers far more than I did with the guns. Beyond that, I'm putting together a Mass Effect tabletop rpg with my friends soon. I hope that goes well.

Very nice I can't tell you how many times I've beaten those games. It's one of my favorite series.

I've only played the first one so far and am still gonna play couple times more before I move onto ME2 because I want the companion trophies + an ideal save to import.

So far I've played as the default Shepard who ended up being quite the goodie-two-shoes and Vanguard male who gave me the Renegade trophy in the end.

I rarely like shooters but I really enjoy ME. Great story and characters, as one would expect from BioWare.

I was so excited for Mass Effect that I pre-ordered the collector's edition ... and then sold it a few years later (with all my games) to pay for medical bills only to later realize that it was worth hundreds when I tried to buy it again

Anyway, I loved it! Paragon, infiltrator, spacer, sole-survivor FemShep, with Liara (romance) and Wrex by my side throughout. I did not care for Mass Effect 2 nearly as much. The whole game felt like a betrayal of what I loved in the original. Party characters were much better developed, but only because they forced you to choose them all for key missions ... I missed having a core team! The Shepard frankenstein / clone setup was such a copout in storytelling. I hated the lack of the Mako and the new ammo system was annoying (I was an Infiltrator, after all). The final boss was way too cheesy as well, but I think I saved everyone. No Liara romance, so I played through completely unattached until Shadow Broker came out. Never bothered with ME3. Sorry, I'm a sourpuss!

I tried to play again a few years ago when I bought the PlayStation 3 trilogy, in part because I figured I should give ME3 a go, but kind of got sidetracked. Started with Tali and Liara in ME1 though. Would like to return, someday....

Mass Effect Andromeda has me kind of excited, but it would be nice to play this one from a scientist's / explorer's perspective as opposed to always from someone in military service. The in-game universe interests me way more than the combat. Fingers crossed for varied backstories this time around!

Vanguard / Sole survivor. Wrex and Garius as my trusty wingmen.  Always Paragon. With a hint of malice.  I used to play chaotic characters in D&D  / Baulders Gate so I get some wiggle room.  I went soldier for ME2/3 and had a blast with assault rifles, which is odd as I'm usually a caster/RDPS.

And I always, without fail punch the journalist in ME2.

I'm really hopeful for Mass Effect Andromeda! I played ME 1 and 2 so many times and despite ME 3 having many good moments in it, that ending still left a bad taste for me. Ugh, probably because I'm a sap and wanted my Shep to have her happy ending with Trainer T_T

Anyways!! Overall, still a really great series and can't wait to see how the new one will turn out!
