Ok first off I have been on hrt for 1 year now and I am very happy with my hips, butt, waist and face. There are all really fem(just need permanent hair removal done someday) However my breasts are still too small for my liking. I'm only a 38a as those fit me really well as I jog in them. I look like I'm half way between a tanner III and Tanner IV development. I hate to have to do this but will eating more food(of course healthy food)and gaining more fat everywhere let more fat migrate to my chest making my boobs bigger? If so could I just start my exercising again and loose my fat I don't want and still keep my larger boobs I acquired? If so that would be awesome, I'd totally become overweight for a bit to get bigger boobs then loose my unwanted weight later while keeping my boobs.

In my experience, eating more increases size proportionally everywhere with the majority going to the hips and breasts and some also going to the waist.

Thanks, I kind of figured that but I just wanted to be sure. As soon as my food budget becomes wider I'll be stocking up my house for puberty # 2 for sure.

Depends on genetics really and what you're predisposed to. The women in my family carry most of their weight in the hips and aren't very busty in general. So most of my fat gains goes to my hips/thighs and a little bit to my boobs.

Magicka

Ahh the genetics makes sense as well. Thankfully in my family their are some big breasted women on my mothers side... my mom was a 44dd, I have a sis that is 36c or more another sis that is a large c etc. The girls on my dads side have big butts and wide hips(really wide.) It seems like I mainly got the genes from the girls from my dads side or something But maybe I'll graduate to a lower c in a couple years which would be totally awesome!!

I have been on HRT over 3 years and am a full A. I am still growing but very very slowly. I have a BA scheduled for November to a full c (450 cc implants).

It doesn't work this way, lol. Typically, when you exercise to lose weight, you'll lose the last place gained first. There's not much you can do to target specific places. That aside, breasts are more than just fat. Breast tissue needs to grow and mature, so that you not only gain size but shape as well. Be patient. Stuff your bra if ya feel you need to. 'Chicken cutlets' can work wonders! But breast development can take years, and you can have sudden growth spurts out of nowhere. Give it time! Are you on progesterone? And if so, what kind?

I gained fullness in the last 1.5 years. I have been on IM for 2 years. I do not know if there is a correlation. When I have my BA it would be 3.5 years on HRT.

I agree, give yourself time.

Thanks for all the great info! I really don't want to become fat after all... haha it would be soooo hard to loose it later! To answer your question... yes, I'm on progesterone. It is Microgest Progesterone USP, I take them at night 10 days a month. I am also on (Estrofem)Estrogen daily and currently spiro daily.

I had to switch around and change dosage amounts and methods of taking them for conservational purposes(self-med finances are not hot right now.)

I would love to get on injections but I do not know how much is ideal to inject and the large dosage injections are sooooo expensive!!

Adding on to what Ashey said, I can't tell you how much P helps with breast growth. Its a shame not more doctors prescribe it for us because estrogen and p go together like peanut butter and jelly lol. Its known to be crucial for breast development during puberty and is an essential hormone during pregnancy regarding lactation. It also helps with weight gain like I think if it weren't for P I wouldn't have gained the 20lbs I so desperately needed. Then again not all of us react positively to it either so there's that but I think all trans women should give it a try at least once, just make sure its the bio identical kind.

I took P and it really changed my breasts in no time, it shaped them and helped with growth, but then...

it's not bioidentical, it's medroxyprogesterone, synthetic, can't afford the bio, that's one thing

other thing is my blood test showed my E dropped drastically and I now figure it's the P that did that, so I stopped taking it and now I see again the effects of E rising, my face is rounder day by day, my skin dryer, I see less my veins on my arms and hands... my nose, E changes the shape of my nose.

plus, I feel my breast growing again, very tender and sensitive, I realize now, as it was in the fist stages, before I took P

this is very weird (my drastic drop of E), couldn't get a hold of my doctor yet, but I plan to take P again 5-6 days a month

as for the size it seems development would be Tanner IV but I didn't buy a bra yet so I dunno... I feel them bounce when I jump  :D

I'm confident they will grow more, plus I guess I should eat more

During my first few years if HRT including progestrone, my breasts grew to 36C. After the orchiectomy, my prescriptions changed, and I went back to an A cup. Spiro got me back to a small C cup.

Results may vary. Having androgen insensitively, my body has always had difficulties developing the right characteristics for either gender. I just hated being androgynous, and made up my mind way back when.

This is why it is always important to keep regular visits with a doctor.

This thread reminds me of how very differently we see women and respond to the same or similar treatments and drugs.  I have been on HRT since 3/2013 and added progestin a few months ago.  I too gained 20 pounds and small breasts I just love.

Whenever I feel dissatisfied I look around at the passing parade and am reminded that millions of women are happy with what nature provided while some will also have augmentations and some reductions.

What makes us a woman or what makes us feminine?  Is a woman still feminine if she has AA breasts or has a mastectomy?  Thats the reality for millions of cis women.  What does our breast focus (i have it to some degree too) say about how we view women?   Food for thought or just yummy ;D

What a beautiful and very true thing to say Tessa. :) A woman is not defined by her boobs or hips but instead her character. One of those thing being how nurturing and motherly she is. Considering ciswomen have a the parts to bear children, feed children, and birth them means biologically speaking womanhood is about motherly nature. I know that does not stand well with ciswomen born without functioning reproductive systems and such though it's rare or us transwomen though. At least I am nurturing, and motherly, I love children especially young, sweet well behaved ones... they make me happy being with them. I will adopt someday preferably a baby or young child.

Not to be a debbie downer but I don't think there is much you can do to make your breasts grow beyond what will naturally occur over time. Otherwise the boob job industry wouldn't be a multi billion dollar industry. Just give yourself time all good things are worth the wait. With that being said I understand wanting more. I wish I could be one of those girls who was totally satisfied with nature gave them but just wasn't the case for me so after 6 years on HRT I opted for implants. Good luck !

speaking about working with what you got... the average, from what i understand, fir trans-women is an a to b cup. with that, what is the average size of breast buds?

After 6 years on HRT I topped out at an A , however I've heard from other girls who have had much better results.

I think a lot of the studies saying that transwomen end up 1-2 cups behind the genetic females in their families was done when non bio identical estrogen and progestines were prescribed. Now that there is 17b-oestradiol and Progesterone U.S.P. human identical hormones the results are better. Also starting earlier in age as everyone is aware of is ideal. That's why young transgirls have very well developed bodies when they start in their teens... lucky girls!! But for us late transitioners ie me starting hrt when I was 27(now 28) we have to hope for all the best. Our hgh levels are significantly lower by default which makes me soooo regretful that I started hrt sooo late in age!! I'm going to start doing everything I can to stimulate hgh production such as sleeping 9 or more hours a night, eating healthy(already do for the most part) getting lots of healthy fats and cholesterols(precursors to hormones including hgh) and looking into herbal hgh boosters.

So far what I know that also boosts hgh production is...

exercise
lots of sleep
sadly....   testosterone(no thanks)
cholersteroles try healthy
healthy fats
balanced electrolytes (try plant derived mineral blends containing 60 or more essential minerals)
healthy diet
balanced omega fatty acids are a plus
and essential vitamins specifically vit d3 it works wonders for many things.

Anyone ever try breast massages to increase breast size as well? I massage them here and there but maybe I should do so every day.

Nothing lazy about it...a good "moist heat" heating pad just plain feels good when the breasts are tender.  I spoke with my endo and transition related MD about using it and both said about the same thing...nothing wrong with it, just do not burn them off as that would be counter productive towards the desired goals.  My Dr.'s are jokers!

On the serious side of it, Megan (my endo) explained that a lot about healthy breast development is blood flow and the heat would help with that so there might be some medical reasoning of a sound nature behind using one.  Regardless, after a long day out and about, laying down with the heater on the top can be heavenly :D
