It's been some time since I was in a position where I could regularly access this site. I've missed it, a LOT! I'm glad to see so many welcoming faces and attitudes - very different from East TN. Many things have changed - career, family size, etc., but one thing remains - the closet I find myself stuffed in is becoming less and less somewhere I want to be and I need healthy outlets to move forward. I've got a great advocate locally, and she encourages me daily to be more, do more... but I struggle to know what more actually is. I struggle to reconcile my faith with my gender, and all those sort of things make me more and more anxious.

All that said - I'm excited to re-engage and get to know folks!

Yes! Very close (about 30 minutes). East TN is a beautiful place to live, but Gatlinburg is a bit too commercial!
