Marathon Electrolysis session

Anyone ever do this?  Like all day, 2 people working. I have my consultation on Tuesday and I'm trying to see if there's anything I should know.

Hello Charlotte, I had an all day 2 technician session in Lewisville Texas a month ago. It to ~7 hours to totally clear my face. They used lidocaine injections to numb the skin so there was no pain with the electrolysis...but the injections were a bit painful (but far less than an hour of normal electrolysis). There was considerable swelling for about 3 to 4 days. They told me that I would need 8 to 10 sessions (a month and a half to two months apart) to permanently remove my beard, each session for less and less time. I am scheduled for my next session at the end of this month. All in all I am pleased so far and look forward to more progress. If it works out as planned it should take only ~90 technician hours compared to an expected 300 hours of normal electrolysis. The biggest draw for me was that it was PAIN FREE while my local electrolysis time was more painful than I could handle. I hope that this helps.

Not all day, but half day and mine was also with lidocaine injections. Bring a couple stress balls. My electrologist had them on site. Those injections are no joke. I still have 3 sessions left, they still scare me every single time, and they still hurt far more than I remembered from last time too. As stated though, the bonus is that you don't feel a thing during the electrolysis, so a couple minutes of Hell is worth it.

I'm scheduled to go for about 3 days of 2 electrologists at E3K in October.  I'll let you know! 

I did do about 3 1/2 hours of two electrologists without lidocaine, and I hit my limit at just under 3 hours, at which time we had to switch to other body parts.  And I have a pretty high pain threshold.

With my Compounded Anaesthetic ointment I can do about a 30 minute session on just about any section of my Face. I am getting dental injections for a clearance of my upper/lower lip and chin. This is the second time and we should be able to do a couple of hours work. I want to get to the point with this area that it is cleared. Once that is cleared I plan to move onto another spot and let the topical anaesthetic take care of things. It does work and for someone who does not have the same issues I have they could get a great result. Here in Australia we do not have this option of long sessions with anaesthetic...I can get a long session but not with someone who is overly experienced and with flights and accommodation it works out to about $190 per hour if I make it for 8 hrs. I am currently paying about $90 per hour but can only tolerate 30 minutes . The biggest danger I keep getting told about is scarring...I am not reading anywhere about girls getting scarred during these long sessions. Has anyone had trouble with that because of the long session involved?
