So I am on my 2nd week of hrt. I was prescribed e and spiro for the first 3 months. I told the doctor I want a slow dose regimen to allow be 4-6 months to move and change jobs while going unnoticed as trans.

Is this a high dose for the timeline I prefer? Are these next few month potentially going to be obvious. Aware of ymmv, however I want to hear others' experiences with the first months of hrt. As of now, I have noticed psychological effects such as calming of the mind. I also have noticed softening of my skin and thinning of my body hair. I am concerned I am reacting "too well" with hrt.

Mod Edit:Dosage

You are talking about two drugs and two different results. Right now the Spiro is doing the heavy lifting reducing your dysphoria, reducing the hair and softening the skin. The estradiol will do the body shaping producing a more feminine looking body. It's very difficult to tell you how much your body will change. If you are skinny as a rail you might find it takes longer to see results. If you already have moobs, results may happen pretty fast. After 10 year off HRT I have returned to a different tablet and at a lower dosage than your's and I am seeing development beyond my past treatment so it's difficult to tell. Watch it for a few months and if things are happening to fast, ask your doctor about reducing the dosage.

My main concern would be breast growth as of now. Years ago I took steroids (was into bodybuilding) and I did experience slight gyno. My docotor said since that happened, I have a head start with my breasts. Now I am worried I will grow them too fast for my expectations this earl on in transition.

Anyone experience rapid breast development with having previous gyno? Even if you didnt have gyno prior to transitioning, what's the largest breast growth (size) experienced within 4-5 months in?

It took me about 5 years to hit AA. Others on the site report far shorter times.
