I have very full, reddish-pink lips that are very femininely shaped. On their own they might not be a problem, but combined with the rest of my face, they are. For context, I've been on testosterone for 2.5 years now.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to reduce their appearance?
I'm considering doing a 'lipstick' permanent makeup treatment to make them paler. But, I'm terrified that the person doing it would (consciously or unconsciously) make me look more feminine. Kinda like what happens when you go to a hairdresser, and they technically give you the cut you asked for, but they do it in the most feminine way possible.
I'm also looking into surgical lip reduction down the road.
Does anyone know of any surgeons that do lip reductions and have experience with trans clients?
(I do not want reassurance saying they don't look feminine. I am aware that many cis guys have full lips and I have seen photos of young Mick Jagger. That does not change the fact that my lips look feminine to me, and cause me a lot of mental anguish. If one more person tries to tell me how 'kissable' and 'pouty' my lips are like it's a good thing, I'm going to scream.)
Also not looking for advice about the hair thing. That was just an example.
