Theres this guy I know for a couple of months. Hes really weird in a good way in my opinion and I think we could be compatible. He invites me to movies a lot and we hang out on and off.

Hes really affectionate. He always try to hug me. And he watches cartoons without a problem.

Anyways hes not my boyfriend or disclose hes gay.

About 10 days ago, I was crushing on him really hard and bought him a stuff animal (DC comics toy... He has a dc bedspread and is really nerdy).

Were going to see a DC comic movie tomorrow again (and hes in love with a certain character.)... I bought him a stuff animal of that character.

Would it be strange for a "normal" guy to give this gift to him. I dont want to weird him out but I honestly think he would appreciate the gesture at worst.

I don't think so at all. Im sure that at the least he'd consider it a friendly gesture and if you're lucky it might make him consider that there's something a little more to this friendship. I think it can only help your cause and that no harm could come of it

Well dont want to say I was c-block but the past few days friends of ours kept interrupting my chance to give him the gift. At the theater and at the bar tonight.

Well I finally gave him the gift tonight and he was like "oh wow its the classic version. I would hug you but I know you dont like being hugged."

I was like "ohhh nooo" in my head and then he said, your manager is protective of you. And I was like "im okay being hugged"

And then he said "want to hang out with me and "someome else" tomorrow".... I said sure.

He like the gift and all... But it turn out to be more platonic gift than I thought.... Well could had been worse.

If he searches for me tomorrow than I know it work... But if he ignores me tomorrow than Ill take that as the answer.
