My "partner" per se, is Bigender, what would I call him? he says saying he/him and his male name is fine, but he doesn't like the thought of us being referred to or seen as a girl and guy couple. I try to say boo instead of bf or gf, and partner sounds cowboy-ish to me, but what is really the best way to address us?

How about significant other which is pretty common or better half which is a bit older. Neither implies gender and allows the listener to think what ever they want.

For what it's worth, I usually just refer to my partner as "bae" or "my significant otter"... the latter of which is always fun because if anyone queries it, you then get to say "because they're otterly adorable", and for me, silly jokes are always a good way of dealing with situations that I find potentially awkward.
