Inspired by my facepalm moment of this morning, I thought it would be a great topic - we've all done it - and this seemed like an ideal way to share..

So I manage a kids sports team, and after the match, I was calling to one of the team. I eventually got her attention, and a response of 'oh it's you calling, She told me it was a girl' whilst she was pointing in the general direction of her friend. Without thinking, I turned to her friend, and said, very politely ' thank you sweetie' and turned back to talk to the other child.

Cue LOTS of quizzical looks around... And I stood, trying to retain my composure...

So what's your story :)

I can't remember the exact words but a several months ago at work one of my friends kept asking me if I was going to get a sex change.  Usually I found it amusing and played his game with some humor.  One day I simply said yes.  Another guy, who happens to be a Baptist Minister heard me so he came over and with concern started asking questions.  I decided that wasn't the time to try to explain everything (in the middle of a crowded office) so I simply dissembled and it ended.  I'm not sure what they thought but regardless, I still get along with everyone.
Love is not obedience, conformity, or submission. It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being....  - Dan Barker

I've not been out-able for all that long, but I wrote in another thread about a GP visit, he's not involved in this little hormonal exercise, and we've been with him for a long time so I don't feel like swapping to someone that would be more comfortable with hrt.

But during the physical, he's the sort that likes to poke most everything, and I've had sizable pecs all my adult life, so he's working his way around my chest thumping, listening and telling me to breathe, and then he gets a good handful of boob instead of pec; well, they don't feel anything alike, and it threw him out of stride (and made me catch my breath pretty sharply...).   But he carried on, and all went pleasantly.     Nothing unhealthy found, bloodwork came back perfect, so no odd comments!
