Electrolysis or Oriechtomy?

So as everyone knows we've all get our taxes around February-April back after we proceed with our refund. I'm not worried about the costs at all. I've got a decent job and quite the security that comes with it. So anything I do 'trans' related doesn't back lash on me for losing it LOL I've been open with it everything so far and they've been chill as a fudge brownie.

I can't decide if I want to go through with the 15 hours of Electrolysis, which would remove those nasty stubble hairs or taking care of the Ori to free up the need for Spiro. Any thoughts?! I know for a fact within a two year span from now both will be taken care of. And two years following that my GRS.

That is a tough decision and if you feel they are equal in value, how about the Ori now and electrolysis one hour at a time as the money can be set aside. I never paid for electrolysis out of savings but did it out of my pay check. Had I done it out of saving, it would have burned up all my surgery money.

Well since leaving Wally World for Publix. I've had much better pay and more hours than I can deal with LOL. Granted now I don't get a bonus every quarter, but in the long run I think my pay here will be better in the long term. I MEAN they all ready see my value for management when my last job didn't care too much. So saving up three for all issues ain't so a problem. It is a very hard decision to make Dena LOL... It really is I don't like to shave every day, but at the same time I really wanna knock out that Spiro too.

As for my savings meh... I'm leaving that out I didn't really have a need to use that yet and don't plan on it. Granted most of it is in Savings Bonds from the early-late 90's. LOL...

I had the orchiectomy first but there were secondary reasons for it and it was covered by insurance.  I would have actually started electrolysis first but ended up having to use my electrolysis money for my wife's surgical and doctor bills.

You appear to have light skin and dark hair, so a home laser or IPL will reduce your hair until it is no longer a problem, and for about $400. I just bought one today. Remington I-light pro pulse quartz. off groupon for $269 usually $399. Why not do both?

The only advantage of the orchi to me is not having to use anti-androgens when I started HRT and, as my endocrinologist says, allowing the estrogen to work without having to overcome Testosterone.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'll still have much time to think about what I want to take care of first coming into 2017. And quite the bank to save up for. I guess I'm just fortunate to have only one Testicle that does work or ever did.

Orchiectomy will not make facial hair stop growing. Nor will anti-androgens. You would need to look at all your options, including electrolysis. Depending on AIS, not much electrolysis may be needed.

Well I allready knew that the Ori on my testicle wouldn't do much LOL, but still it would kill off the need for Spiro. In my particular condition I didn't start developing Facial Hair until I was around 20-21. So after being on HRT for awhile some of it reverted back - obviously it didn't go away. If I can stand a good month of not shaving I'ma have to post a picture of the difference. But I hate having it LOL I couldn't do that too myself. Electrolysis would be great for daily comforts, but I think I'm leaning towards the Ori. And just taking care of the Electrolysis at a later date in June when my bonus comes in. But I make decent money each month so nothing is out of hand or feels to distantly. You just gotta take it by ear and see what happens. Never plan too far ahead nor too soon. Somewhere in between is ideal.

Since I entered puberty at 17, and started HRT at 25, I don't have major issues with facial hair either. Of course, the orchiectomy at age 28 helped. I say "go for it". You would certainly feel better about yourself. I do.

My T level has now dropped to virtually zero and there's a noticeable effect on beard growth. That might not apply from person to person but it's perhaps a factor to throw in?

Np it's not an add per se. when you get to the site you will have to search for it. The one I ordered will be here Monday. I'll keep you posted via PM. I was going to get electrolysis but it is terribly expensive. From what I read if you use Carbon ink after shaving and then wipe the ink off your face with ethyl alcohol. The ink will be absorbed into the hair shaft and make it easier for the machine to pick out the hair and zap it away. Well not exactly zap like electrolysis but in about 7 days the hair will fall out.  The first few times may not seem like it's working but eventually it will  just be a maintenance procedure. Just something to think about.

From observation, I think most girls feminise substantially more after srs or an orchi. It's like the T blockers do reduce T in a quantifiable way on blood tests, but that somehow it's just not as high a quality reduction in T as when the gonads are removed.

I mean one is a bit of a developed teste which will be removed, but I don't know how they would feel about the other. I can see them removing my undeveloped piece. The androgen production it produces out weighs what little Estrogen it does produce. This procedure would cost a bit, but it's something that both needs to be done. So I've like made up my mind about getting them removed for some time now. Really thanks girls! -hugs- ^^
