I recently had a check up at my gender clinic in the UK and the doctor communicated to my GP that my E levels were lower than expected for the dose I'm on. My T levels practically 0 as I use an effective AA. Anyway, the doctor recommended a change of patch supplier because she thought the patches maybe weren't sticking very well. I don't have my E levels.

I thought this a little strange as they seemed to be sticking OK and won't get to see her 'till November.

Has anyone else came across this before? Any opinions/experiences appreciated.

I definitely get better results from one manufacturer of generics than another, even though the patches *seem* to stick fairly well. The adhesive is actually the delivery method for the estrogen, so I suppose it's possible that even small changes in adhesiveness could change things... or maybe certain types work better with my body, I dunno.

I used the Evorel brand, for me they held on well despite showers, baths, running and swimming. I always gave the area a shave and good clean before application.

Thanks for the opinions girls.

I was using Evorel and have now switched to Novartis IIRC. The patches are much smaller which is a bonus, just hope now that they work well!!
