The nurse practitioner I see to get my testosterone does a follow up two months after you start, then if everything is good, it's every six months. I went for my follow up a couple days ago, and just got the blood work results back.
It was the day before I do my shots, and my T level was 599. My estradiol level was a lot lower than the previous blood test.
In the last couple of weeks, I've started seeing more changes. I have PCOS, so I've had extra hair growth for years, but it's increased lately. My facial hair is filling in more. I've pretty much had a goatee and part of a mustache, but I'm starting to get more hairs along my cheeks and further up my jawline. I'm also getting more body hair. I've gone about a month and a half without shark week, and the last one was a lot shorter than usual. My voice is getting deeper, and even the nurse practitioner could tell. It's helping me pass more, but I still can't figure out why I pass sometimes and not other times, even in the same day. It's more changes than I was expecting this quickly, and yet my family hasn't noticed or commented on it thankfully.
I also got her to give me paper copies of my prescriptions because of the issue I had with the pharmacist last time, so I found out she wrote it for me to have syringes with 24 gauge needles for injecting and 18 gauge for drawing.
