(I would like to join the group too, but I'm not entirely sure how to find it/you on FB. I have a secondary account so that my real identity is not linked to stuff like this...)

jujubes,

Progress is great. Congratulations on moving toward a normalcy in this.

Warmly,

Joanna
Yea I feel a lot better :) I still feel the random tenderness here and there... and I'm still using all three dilator when dilating even when the book says use only green and orange... it's very tight and the tightness causes a bit of pain but pain is tolerable...

My surgery isn't until second week of April but it seems that time is flying by.
Cant wait!

Thank you for the info.  And thanks again to JUJUBE for sharing her experience.

It does go by super quick. I thought my wait would feel like forever. But I can't believe I'm not even 2 weeks away

For me the last week was a blur, so get everything done this week that you can, you will suddenly feel like you are running out of time as you reach day 5 or 6...

So happy for you, sweetie!!! Kinda jealous, too, weirdly, like I wanna go again myself, lol. It was the most profound experience of my journey, by far...

Actually, after thinking about it a moment, it was the most profound experience of my entire life, bar none..

Really.

The thing I keep doing and thinking is when I'm not wearing any clothes I look down and think. Wow in less than 2 weeks this view is gonna be a whole lot different. I will be looking past my new chest at the right genitalia. Like holy ->-bleeped-<- my mind can't comprehend this I find. I'm probably gonna cry a lot after. Slightly cause of being back on hormones but mostly cause I never ever ever in my wildest dreams did I ever think this was even a remote possibility.

I remember as a kid dreaming one day having my body look right but would always snap out of it and think no it's not possible. And now like wtf I can't believe I'm gonna be me soon

Yesss, and yet, here we are, it's now the 21st Century, and though I am still waiting for my flying car, and vacations on the moon, the view in the mirror has definitely come of age. I can't even remember what my willy looked like and he's only been gone for two years. What was once the focus of nearly every thought since childhood, good and bad, has vanished into the haze of much better days!

Tick, tock, yer gonna lose that...umm...appendage soon!

Hang on, just another three months and you'll be down to once a day, then another six months, and you are home-free!  ;D

Missy

Juju, You're dilating twice at the 3 month mark?  Is this the norm?  Dilating even 3 times a day would be a problem for me bc of my job.  I am hoping it goes down to twice a day after the 3 months.
I started dilating twice a day before my 3 months ended because of work... but I dilate for a longer period of time!

From your avatar picture you have the classic heart shaped face and not only is it feminine, it's attractive as well. You may not be seeing the femininity in your face but I am sure that others do.

I fully agree with Dena on that one, jujubes! I have always thought that you looked very feminine in your photo.

If your avatar is you, you don't look like a guy.

+1 to the above comments. You totally look like a girl, and a pretty beautiful one at that.

The revision went well, my scar was totally resected, and the new scar lays flat and is healing very nicely.

I have scars just outside my vagina, on each side, still to this day. I had my op in 2005 with Dr. B. These scars are not visible if there is hair in the region but when waxed or shaved, they are quite apparent. They look like thin, white (hypopigmentation) lines. I wonder if Dr. Brassard could do anything to help improve the appearance of these scars, should call him.

QuoteI can even pee most of the time without it going all over my legs now, too. Yay!

Peeing was never a problem for me. I'm happy things are better for you. :)

Question: the skin of my inner labia seems quite thick compared to the average ciswoman? Have any of you girls operated by Brassard also noticed this?
