I've been having a few symptoms of stress lately... mainly insomnia which is causing headaches and dizziness... I told my dad about the headaches and dizziness, so this time he actually made an appointment for me to go to my doctor. Again.
The doctor said that I was brave to come and see him at all about this really, which was nice. I do think that he understands to an extent what I was trying to get across to him, and he said things like "you've clearly given this a lot of thought", which is very true. I explained that I'm really not in a position to talk to my parents right now. He was sympathetic and all, and he said that he'd see if the system could make an exception for me to see the counsellor they have there, which ordinarily requires parental consent or being over 16. Well, it's only 4 months until I'm 16 anyway, but right now that seems like absolutely forever. It's getting really hard to cope with this now. The doctor did say he'd try, and without being too optimistic, I think I might just be one of the exceptions. Apparently he needs to consult the counsellor about whether that's possible, so I need to call him next Tuesday to find out...
...*Fingers crossed*...
