hello everyone, I am so glad to find a forum to discuss and explore the transgender issue.  I am a m-f transgendered person.  I had my surgery in March 1980. and have been very happy but have lost my family as a result.  I jave been happily married for 33.years and recently retired from work.  i would like to help those going through the transition with support and advice.  i go by the name valkyrie, amd look forward to sharing my experiences in this forum

Welcome to Susan's Place. Up to now I thought I was the first on this forum to have surgery. You have beat me out by two years as my surgery was June 1982. You will find there is plenty to do on this site as many who join are early in the discovery process and vary in age from 12 to over 70 year of age. If there is anything I can help you with, let me know.
